BLOOD REDD

Cinemavixion Review

Brad Palmer's "Blood Redd" plunges viewers into a chilling mystery where forensic pathologist Mortimer Clark grapples with a series of gruesome murders. The recurring motif of a canine-ravaged victim, coinciding with the full moon, initially suggests a supernatural element, perhaps a werewolf. However, the narrative cleverly pivots, introducing Lauren Redd and a sinister family secret, transforming the investigation into a complex web of deceit and survival. The film, starring Stephanie Hullar, Torey Widener, and Julie Marie Hassett, navigates the dark underbelly of a small town where appearances are deceiving. Despite its modest IMDb rating, "Blood Redd" offers a compelling blend of horror and suspense, exploring themes of hidden truths and the lengths to which families will go to protect their own. Palmer's direction crafts an atmosphere of mounting dread, making this an intriguing watch for fans of psychological thrillers.
