BLOOD PI

Cinemavixion Review

In 'Blood Pi,' director Jordan Pacheco crafts a slasher that leans into the festive chaos of Halloween at River Falls University. Set against the backdrop of a winning football season, the film juxtaposes collegiate revelry—complete with parties, music, and youthful abandon—with the encroaching dread of a masked killer. The narrative effectively builds suspense as the vibrant campus atmosphere turns crimson with bloodshed, leaving students to question who among them is the perpetrator. While the film may not break new ground in the genre, it delivers a solid dose of autumnal horror, amplified by its setting and the escalating body count. The ensemble cast, featuring Lilith Astaroth, Sarah Nicklin, and Anna Rizzo, navigates the familiar tropes with a commitment that keeps the audience engaged in the unfolding mystery.
