BLOOD PI

Cinemavixion Review

Jordan Pacheco's 'Blood Pi' plunges into the unsettling atmosphere of River Falls University during a triumphant football season, a stark contrast to the grisly events that unfold. As school spirit reaches a fever pitch, with parties erupting across campus, a sinister presence begins to stalk the jubilant students. What begins as a celebration of athletic prowess and social camaraderie devolves into a desperate fight for survival as the university's gold and red hues are tragically replaced by the crimson of spilled blood. The film masterfully juxtaposes youthful exuberance with escalating terror, creating a suspenseful narrative that questions the safety of even the most spirited gatherings. While the critical reception, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 3.6, suggests a divisive viewing experience, 'Blood Pi' offers a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of horror's intrusion into seemingly idyllic settings.
