BLOOD IN THE WATER

Cinemavixion Review

"Blood in the Water" plunges viewers into the sun-drenched, yet morally murky, world of the Hollywood Hills, offering a tense thriller centered on young lovers Percy and Veronica. As they house-sit a lavish estate, their idyllic summer is shattered by the arrival of an unwelcome figure from their past. This intrusion unravels a complex love triangle, transforming their supposed paradise into a pressure cooker of deceit and escalating danger. The film, directed by Ben and Orson Cummings, features a compelling performance from Willa Holland as Veronica and Alex Russell as Percy, who navigate the increasingly perilous situation. While the external data suggests a 2016 release, the core narrative remains consistent with the local description, highlighting a descent from youthful escapism into a gripping, dark affair. The film's strength lies in its exploration of how seemingly perfect settings can harbor destructive secrets, making it a noteworthy watch for fans of suspenseful dramas.
