BLOOD FROM STONE

Cinemavixion Review

Darya's journey in 'Blood From Stone' is a poignant exploration of existential dread and the heavy mantle of immortality. The narrative delves into the profound struggle of starting anew while tethered to a vampiric curse, masterfully inflicted by Jure. The film doesn't shy away from the psychological toll of eternal life, portraying Jure's descent from a revered figure to one perceived as monstrous. Vanja Kapetanovic and Gabriella Toth deliver performances that capture the internal conflict and the isolating nature of their characters' fates. The film invites viewers to contemplate the nature of good and evil, and the burden of a power that separates one from humanity. It's a character-driven piece that offers a somber yet compelling look at the consequences of transformation and the enduring weight of the past.
