BLIND DRAGON

Cinemavixion Review

"Blind Dragon" presents a compelling narrative of redemption and reconciliation, set against a backdrop of familial separation and criminal underworlds. The story centers on Liang, a mother separated from her son under tragic circumstances, and "Ghost," a formidable enforcer whose life takes a drastic turn. Their paths cross years later, initiating a complex dance between duty, regret, and the yearning for a lost connection. The film explores the arduous journey of atonement, as both characters navigate their past actions and strive for a semblance of peace. The potential for profound emotional depth lies in the exploration of their intertwined destinies, as they unexpectedly find mutual support in their quest for a return to normalcy and self-forgiveness. The performances, particularly from Yuan Qiu and Philip Ng, anchor the film's emotional core, bringing a nuanced humanity to their challenging roles.
