BLEEDING PEACH

Cinemavixion Review

Claudio Santorelli's 'Bleeding Peach' delves into the poignant and ultimately tragic life of Chiqui, a 55-year-old woman navigating the world with mild mental retardation. The narrative centers on her relationship with Bocha, her sole boyfriend, whose presence in her life introduces a conflict with her family. The pressures exerted by her relatives culminate in a devastating conclusion for Chiqui, offering a stark portrayal of societal judgment and its devastating impact on vulnerable individuals. Maria Latini, Claudio Medina, and Fabián Petroni deliver performances that underscore the emotional weight of this sensitive subject matter.
