BLACK WEB

Cinemavixion Review

Tim Connery's "Black Web" presents a chillingly prescient narrative for the digital age. The film masterfully weaves a tale of a programmer whose obsessive tracking of the internet's evolution leads him to a terrifying discovery: his own future obituary. This revelation propels him into a desperate race against time, forcing a confrontation with a past he'd rather forget to alter a fate seemingly sealed online. The performances, particularly from Chad Meyer, Kristina Johnson, and Dan Flannery, anchor the film's existential dread. Connery's direction effectively captures the isolating nature of technological obsession while building a palpable sense of suspense. "Black Web" serves as a compelling cautionary tale about the indelible mark we leave on the digital world and the inescapable consequences that can follow.
