BLACK TIGRESS

Cinemavixion Review

Siro Marcellini's 'Black Tigress' transports viewers to the dusty, sun-baked town of Sant'Anna, a settlement on the cusp of change. The arrival of Lola, a captivating saloon dancer played with magnetic energy by Lola Falana, injects a vibrant pulse into the community. However, their hopes are threatened by the ruthless outlaw El Diablo, whose greed for land pits him against the hardworking colonists. Falana shines as the unlikely catalyst for rebellion, her character finding an ally in Rod, a young man smitten by her spirit. The film expertly blends elements of the Western with social commentary, exploring themes of exploitation and resistance. While the narrative might tread familiar ground, the performances, particularly Falana's commanding presence, and the evocative setting make 'Black Tigress' a compelling watch, offering a spirited tale of courage against overwhelming odds.
