BLACK LIZARD TALES

Cinemavixion Review

James Edward Newton's "Black Lizard Tales" is a chilling anthology that weaves together three distinct horror narratives, unified by their exploration of psychological dread and supernatural terror. Set against the backdrop of an English university campus, the film introduces a compelling trio of protagonists: a psychology professor, a devout nun grappling with her fear of mortality, and a young woman burdened by trauma. Their paths intersect in a series of increasingly disturbing events, encompassing ghostly apparitions, occult rituals, and brutal serial murders. Newton masterfully builds atmosphere, drawing viewers into a world where the mundane gives way to the macabre. While specific details on awards and reception are scarce, the film's tight structure and commitment to visceral horror make it a noteworthy entry in the genre, offering a disturbing yet captivating experience for fans of psychological and supernatural thrillers.
