BLACK DRAGONS

Cinemavixion Review

William Nigh's 1942 film 'Black Dragons' plunges into the shadowy world of industrial sabotage and murder during wartime. Starring the iconic Bela Lugosi as the enigmatic Monsieur Colomb, the film weaves a tale of a sinister cabal of American industrialists intent on undermining the war effort. As these fifth-columnists are systematically eliminated, detective Dick Martin is tasked with unraveling the complex web of deceit and uncovering the true identities and motives at play. While perhaps not as widely celebrated as some of its contemporaries, 'Black Dragons' offers a compelling blend of thriller and war elements, elevated by Lugosi's signature presence. The film's tight runtime of 64 minutes ensures a brisk pace, making it an engaging watch for fans of classic mystery and suspense.
