BIRD

Cinemavixion Review

Dave Mack III's 2020 crime thriller, "Bird," presents a compelling narrative of survival and trust. The film centers on Samantha Flores, a young woman whose life takes a terrifying turn when she witnesses a brutal murder. With her memory fractured by trauma, she crosses paths with Greg Vargas, a criminal caught in the crossfire of a botched heist. Their encounter plunges them into a desperate race against time as they must not only evade unknown assailants but also unravel the mystery locked within Samantha's fragmented recollections. While the film's IMDb rating of 4.2/10 suggests a mixed reception, "Bird" offers a tense and engaging viewing experience, exploring themes of vulnerability and the unexpected alliances forged in the face of danger. The performances, particularly from Alexis Michelle Cato, anchor the film's suspenseful plot.
