Buster Crabbe returns as the legendary Billy the Kid in "The Kid Rides Again," a 1943 Western that sees the infamous outlaw journeying to the town of Sundown. Accompanied by his friend Fuzzy, portrayed by Al St. John, Billy finds himself entangled in a local dispute. The town's banker, Ainsley, is being targeted by the nefarious Mort Slade, who aims to seize a mortgage held by the banker. Slade's plan involves orchestrating a bank robbery and then instigating a bank run, exploiting Ainsley's lack of sufficient funds. Iris Meredith also stars in this installment of the Billy the Kid saga, offering a glimpse into the classic Western genre with its familiar themes of justice and frontier disputes.
