BIKINI MODEL ACADEMY

Cinemavixion Review

Straw Weisman's "Bikini Model Academy" plunges into the often-unseen world of aspiring models and the unlikely entrepreneurs who seek to capitalize on it. The film, released in 2015, stars the iconic Morgan Fairchild and the ever-memorable Gary Busey, alongside Phillip Andre Botello, who together form a central, if unconventional, ensemble. The narrative follows two friends desperate for funds who hatch a plan to establish a bikini model academy, a premise ripe for comedic exploration and social commentary. While the film may not boast critical accolades, its earnest attempt to blend humor with the aspirations of its characters offers a unique, if occasionally campy, viewing experience. It’s a dive into a niche subject, executed with a straightforward approach that might appeal to those seeking lighthearted entertainment.
