BIGFOOT: THE MOVIE

Cinemavixion Review

Embarking on a wild expedition into the realm of cryptozoological comedy, "Bigfoot: The Movie" delivers a unique, albeit rough-around-the-edges, cinematic experience. Set against the backdrop of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, this independent horror-comedy chronicles the chaotic arrival of the legendary Bigfoot, whose presence wreaks havoc upon the unsuspecting locals. The narrative centers on four townspeople who take it upon themselves to confront the hairy menace, blending elements of creature feature suspense with a distinctly local brand of humor. Drawing comparisons to cult favorites like "Tremors" and "Shaun of the Dead," the film attempts to carve out its own niche by skewering both the Bigfoot myth and regional stereotypes. While its production may lean towards the B-movie aesthetic, "Bigfoot: The Movie" compensates with a commitment to its premise and a cast that embraces the absurdity. For those seeking a departure from mainstream fare and an appreciation for earnest, genre-bending endeavors, this Bigfoot adventure offers a surprisingly entertaining hunt.
