BIG TOP EVIL

Cinemavixion Review

Sean Haitz and Chris Potter’s "Big Top Evil" plunges viewers into a grim carnival of carnage, a slasher throwback that doesn't shy away from its gruesome premise. The film follows a group of friends who stumble upon a horrifying circus populated by cannibalistic clowns, transforming their road trip into a desperate fight for survival. While the narrative offers a familiar setup within the horror genre, its execution leans into visceral terror and gore, aiming for a twisted, funhouse-like experience. Bill Moseley, a veteran of the genre, lends his presence to the unsettling atmosphere. Despite a modest IMDb rating, "Big Top Evil" delivers on its promise of a bloody, tension-filled encounter with a particularly disturbing brand of evil, making it a noteworthy watch for aficionados of extreme horror.
