BEYOND THE NEON

Cinemavixion Review

In the gritty underbelly of Las Vegas, "Beyond the Neon" plunges viewers into a chilling social experiment that spirals into the dark reality of human trafficking. Director Larry A. McLean crafts a thriller that, while perhaps not reaching the heights of cinematic prestige, offers a compelling and often disturbing glimpse into the exploitation lurking beneath the glittering facade of Sin City. The film's premise, centered around a reckless YouTuber and his crew, serves as a modern-day cautionary tale, highlighting the dangers of sensationalism and the brutal truths that can be uncovered when venturing too close to the edge. Despite a modest IMDb rating of 6.2, the film's exploration of a serious societal issue, coupled with its tight 87-minute runtime, makes it a noteworthy, albeit unsettling, watch for those interested in crime thrillers with a social conscience.
