BETWEEN MOUNTAINS

Cinemavixion Review

This film delves into the profound depths of grief and the arduous journey toward healing. It tells the story of a widowed father, consumed by the loss of his young son, who embarks on a pilgrimage with the intent of ending his own life. However, his path becomes a surreal odyssey through alternate realities, guided by spectral encounters with his late wife and the universe's subtle interventions. These mystical experiences gradually illuminate the possibility of self-forgiveness and the inherent power of existence. The narrative artfully explores themes of loss, acceptance, and the redemptive force of confronting one's inner turmoil, ultimately leading the protagonist back to the embrace of life.
