BETTER CRIMINAL

Cinemavixion Review

Ben Burke's 'Better Criminal' plunges viewers into a morally ambiguous world where loyalty is a currency and survival hinges on a delicate, dangerous dance. The film masterfully crafts a narrative around a police officer caught between the unforgiving demands of rival gangs and the scrutinizing gaze of an internal investigation. Jordan Belfi, Tom Sizemore, and Emilio Rivera anchor this tense thriller with performances that navigate the complexities of compromised integrity and the desperate measures one takes when trapped in a corner. While the film grapples with themes of corruption and the blurred lines of justice, it offers a compelling, albeit gritty, cinematic experience that probes the very nature of duty and betrayal.
