BETTER CRIMINAL

Cinemavixion Review

Ben Burke's 'Better Criminal' plunges viewers into the morally ambiguous underbelly of law enforcement and organized crime. Starring Jordan Belfi as an LAPD detective ensnared in a dangerous game between two syndicates while simultaneously facing an internal investigation, the film crafts a taut narrative of survival and compromise. Tom Sizemore and Emilio Rivera lend their formidable presence to the supporting cast, embodying the ruthless figures that populate this gritty world. Burke, also serving as director, navigates the complex plot with a steady hand, exploring themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the corrupting influence of power. While the film may not shy away from familiar genre tropes, its tight pacing and compelling performances make it a gripping watch for fans of crime thrillers.
