BERLINGUER TI VOGLIO BENE

Cinemavixion Review

Giuseppe Bertolucci's 1977 film, "Berlinguer ti voglio bene," offers a quirky premise centered on a young poet's infatuation with a woman who despises poetry. The plot, as suggested by the description, follows his unconventional attempts to win her over, with the curious involvement of his mother. Starring Roberto Benigni in an early role, alongside the esteemed Alida Valli and Carlo Monni, the film likely explores themes of artistic passion versus pragmatic disdain, set against a backdrop that promises both humor and emotional complexity. Benigni's distinctive energy, even in his formative years, is a key draw, hinting at the comedic and perhaps poignant journey the protagonist undertakes.
