BENNY LOVES KILLING

Cinemavixion Review

Benny Loves Killing, released in 2013 and directed by Ben Woodiwiss, is a compelling meta-narrative that delves into the psyche of a young filmmaker. Starring Pauline Cousty, Canelle Hoppe, and Kristina Dargelyte, the film masterfully blurs the lines between cinematic horror and the protagonist's lived reality. As she embarks on the arduous journey of creating a horror movie, her own life begins to mirror the very terrors she seeks to capture on screen. This intriguing premise, supported by a solid cast and a directorial vision that earned the film 3 wins, offers a unique exploration of art imitating life, and the unsettling consequences that can arise. With an IMDb rating of 7.0, Benny Loves Killing is a thought-provoking piece for those who appreciate introspective and genre-bending cinema.
