BENNY LOVES KILLING

Cinemavixion Review

Benny Loves Killing" plunges viewers into a compelling narrative that masterfully blurs the lines between cinematic ambition and personal turmoil. Director Ben Woodiwiss crafts a taut psychological drama, anchored by a powerful performance from Pauline Cousty as Benny, a film student whose pursuit of a horror dissertation spirals into a confrontation with her own inner demons. The film's strength lies in its atmospheric tension and its unflinching exploration of self-destruction, as Benny's creative endeavors become inextricably linked to the unraveling of her reality. With a runtime of 100 minutes and lauded with 3 wins, this United Kingdom production, also noted for its 7.0 IMDb rating, offers a deeply unsettling yet thought-provoking cinematic experience. It's a potent reminder of how art can both reflect and amplify the horrors we face within ourselves.
