BENITO MUSSOLINI: THE FATHER OF FASCISM

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the complex and consequential life of Benito Mussolini, exploring his pivotal role in the development of Fascism. It positions him not merely as a secondary figure to Hitler, but as the originator of a political ideology that reshaped Italy. The film promises a comprehensive narrative, tracing his ascent from charming orator to absolute ruler, and unflinchingly examining the oppressive nature of his totalitarian state. By highlighting the contrast between his public persona and the brutal reality of his regime, this documentary offers a crucial lens through which to understand a significant, yet often overshadowed, figure of 20th-century history and the enduring impact of his actions on Italy.
