BENEATH THE SURFACE

Cinemavixion Review

This independent short film, 'Beneath the Surface,' offers a compelling glimpse into psychological distress and marital unease. The narrative centers on a man whose deteriorating health is paralleled by his wife's increasingly erratic conduct, suggesting a descent into a shared nightmare. As the lines between reality and delusion blur, a sinister force appears to loom, threatening to consume them both. The film effectively builds a claustrophobic atmosphere, inviting viewers to question what lies beneath the veneer of their relationship and the protagonist's own psyche. It's a thought-provoking exploration of internal struggles and the unspoken horrors that can fester within intimate bonds.
