BELONG TO US

Cinemavixion Review

Patrick Rea's "Belong To Us" offers a poignant narrative centered on an injured dog's journey from the cruelty of an underground fighting ring into the sanctuary of a loving family. The film masterfully explores themes of resilience, healing, and the profound bond between humans and animals. Ryan O'Nan and Joseph Lee Anderson deliver compelling performances, anchoring the emotional core of the story as they grapple with the dog's trauma and their own capacity for compassion. While the film may not shy away from the harsh realities of its premise, its ultimate message is one of hope and redemption, making it a touching cinematic experience that resonates long after the credits roll. It's a testament to the power of empathy and second chances.
