BELLE STARR'S DAUGHTER

Cinemavixion Review

In the rugged landscape of the Wild West, 'Belle Starr's Daughter' unfolds a tale of revenge, mistaken identity, and outlaw dynamics. Lesley Selander directs a cast led by George Montgomery as Marshal Tom Jackson, a man wrongly accused and driven to clear his name. Rod Cameron embodies the menacing Bob "Bitter Creek" Yauntis, whose actions ignite the central conflict. The narrative centers on Ruth Roman's portrayal of Rose, the daughter of the formidable Belle Starr, who harbors a deep-seated belief that the Marshal is responsible for her mother's demise. As Marshal Jackson navigates the dangerous territory of Cherokee Flats, he must not only confront Yauntis and his gang but also win the trust of Rose. The film delves into themes of justice and perception against the backdrop of outlaw rule, offering a classic Western showdown where truth and innocence are hard-won.
