BEHIND TREASURE'S DOOR

Cinemavixion Review

"Behind Treasure's Door" delves into the complex emotional landscape of a woman whose marital bliss quickly dissolves into a morass of deception. The narrative skillfully explores the suffocating nature of lies within domesticity, forcing Treasure to confront the stark reality that her sanctuary has become her prison. Director Jomae Scott, alongside a compelling cast including Phyli'cia Lloyd and Vernon Snoop Robinson, navigates these turbulent waters with a nuanced touch. The film questions the sacrifices made for perceived security and the courage required to break free, even when escape means dismantling the very life one has built. It's a poignant examination of self-discovery and the arduous path to reclaiming one's agency from within the confines of deceit.
