BEHAVING BADLY

Cinemavixion Review

While "Behaving Badly" attempts to capture the chaotic energy of a young man's quest for love, it ultimately falters under the weight of its own overstuffed premise. The film, starring Nat Wolff and Selena Gomez, plunges into a R-rated comedy of errors that sees its protagonist navigating a minefield of eccentric characters and increasingly absurd situations. Despite a promising cast, the narrative struggles to find its footing, resulting in a disjointed and often cringeworthy experience. Critics were largely unimpressed, with Rotten Tomatoes awarding it a dismal 0% and Metacritic assigning a score of 18/100, reflecting a critical consensus that the film is a misfire in comedic execution. While it may appeal to those seeking a particularly raunchy and uninhibited comedy, its lack of cohesive storytelling and uneven humor prevent it from achieving any real cinematic merit.
