BEHAVE YOURSELF

Cinemavixion Review

This charming film, "Behave Yourself," offers a delightful blend of domestic comedy and unexpected crime caper. The premise, a seemingly innocent anniversary gift of a stray dog, quickly spirals into a hilarious entanglement with the mob and a counterfeiting ring. The narrative cleverly uses the "man's best friend" trope as a catalyst for escalating chaos, showcasing the inherent humor in a simple gesture gone wildly awry. Farley Granger and a young Shelley Winters anchor the film with their engaging performances, navigating the increasingly absurd situations with aplomb. While the film's origins are rooted in a simpler era of filmmaking, its witty script and the sheer audacity of its plot make it a thoroughly enjoyable watch for those seeking lighthearted entertainment with a surprising twist.
