BECKY

Cinemavixion Review

This suburban drama, "Becky," delves into the insidious nature of obsession and the unraveling of a seemingly idyllic life. The narrative centers on a newly married couple whose domestic tranquility is shattered by the unwelcome attention of a neighbor. As the neighbor's fixation escalates, it threatens to consume the husband's marriage and professional life, culminating in a volatile showdown. The film explores the delicate boundaries of relationships and the devastating consequences when those lines are crossed. The performances, particularly from Janet Berzins and Larissa Dali, navigate the complex emotional terrain with compelling intensity, while Joe Grisaffi's portrayal of the encroaching force adds a chilling undercurrent. "Becky" is a taut exploration of desire, consequence, and the hidden dangers lurking beneath the surface of polite society.
