BEAUTIFUL VILLAGER 19

Cinemavixion Review

Mustafa Şevki Doğan's "Beautiful Villager 19" presents a compelling narrative centered on Gul, a city dweller seeking solace in the tranquil village of Muğla. Her escape from Istanbul's bustle and a painful separation from her lover, Kaan, leads her to an unexpected life intertwined with the enigmatic Sultan Ana and her perceived grandson. The arrival of her ex-fiancé Kaan complicates matters, but Gul's heart is set on a new romance with Cemal, a local. The film explores themes of self-discovery, the allure of rural life versus urban experiences, and the complexities of love and reconciliation. With a cast including Gizem Karaca, Berk Cankat, and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, the movie promises a journey into newfound affections and the quiet drama of a small village.
