BEAUTIFUL VILLAGER 12

Cinemavixion Review

Mustafa Şevki Doğan's "Beautiful Villager 12" presents a compelling narrative centered on Gül's search for solace and new beginnings. Escaping the emotional turmoil of Istanbul and a fractured relationship with Kaan, Gül seeks refuge in the tranquil village of Muğla. Her journey takes an unexpected turn as she finds herself living alongside the eccentric Sultan Ana, who believes Gül to be her grandchild. The arrival of Gül's sisters further enriches the village dynamic, drawing them all under Sultan Ana's wing. However, the past refuses to stay buried as Kaan reappears, only to be met with Gül's resolute stance against reconciliation. Her heart has found a new rhythm, set on Cemal, a villager. This tale explores the poignant contrast between an urban upbringing and the simple, yet profound, entanglements of village life, as Gül embarks on a surprising new chapter of love and self-discovery.
