BEATING THE 2,000,000 CALORIE BUFFET

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary offers a fascinating, if somewhat unsettling, glimpse into the world of competitive eating, focusing on the notorious '2,000,000 Calorie Buffet'. Narrator Johnny Vegas provides a wry commentary, guiding viewers through the high-stakes challenges faced by dedicated buffet hunters. The film doesn't shy away from the sheer scale of consumption, presenting an eating frenzy that is both astonishing and perhaps a commentary on modern consumer culture. It serves as an observational piece on the phenomenon of all-you-can-eat establishments prevalent on Britain's high streets, prompting reflection on excess and the human drive to push limits.
