BEAST OF BURDEN

Cinemavixion Review

In "Beast Of Burden," Daniel Radcliffe delivers a compelling performance as Sean Haggerty, a pilot caught in a high-stakes double-cross between a drug cartel and the DEA. The film masterfully navigates the treacherous landscape of international drug trafficking, weaving a tense narrative around Haggerty's desperate efforts to save his wife while maintaining his cover. Director Jesper Ganslandt crafts a claustrophobic atmosphere, effectively utilizing the confines of the cockpit to amplify the protagonist's peril. While the film may not have garnered widespread critical acclaim, as indicated by its Rotten Tomatoes score, it remains a taut thriller anchored by Radcliffe's committed portrayal of a man pushed to his absolute limits. The supporting cast, including Grace Gummer and Pablo Schreiber, provides solid performances, adding depth to this gripping tale of survival and moral compromise.
