BEAST: A MONSTER AMONG MEN

Cinemavixion Review

"Beast: A Monster Among Men" plunges viewers into the claustrophobic confines of a remote cabin, where a weekend getaway for five friends unravels into a tense psychological drama. Director Mike Lenzini masterfully crafts an atmosphere thick with unspoken grievances and simmering resentments. As disagreements fracture the group, the film skillfully explores the darker aspects of human relationships, forcing each character to confront not only their companions but also their own inner turmoil. The narrative eschews cheap scares for a more insidious dread, building suspense through character interactions and mounting suspicion. While the film may not boast blockbuster accolades, its tight pacing and compelling exploration of trust and self-deception offer a thought-provoking, albeit unsettling, cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
