BEARRY

Cinemavixion Review

This suspenseful thriller, 'Bearry', plunges viewers into a chilling narrative centered around Chloe, recently divorced and seeking solace. A gift of a giant teddy bear, Bearry, from her friend Sam, initially offers comfort but soon becomes the focal point of a terrifying mystery. As Chloe confides her deepest wishes to Bearry, those around her begin to disappear or meet untimely ends. The film masterfully blurs the lines between reality and delusion, forcing the audience to question Chloe's sanity, the presence of a sinister stalker, or if the seemingly innocent Bearry harbors a dark secret. Director Alexander T. Hwang crafts an atmosphere of escalating dread, supported by a capable cast including Sarah French, Thomas Haley, and Charles Chudabala, who effectively convey the mounting psychological tension. 'Bearry' is a compelling exploration of grief, isolation, and the terrifying potential of the inanimate.
