BE STILL AND KNOW

Cinemavixion Review

Brittany Goodwin's "Be Still and Know" plunges viewers into a suspenseful autumnal retreat that swiftly devolves into a chilling test of friendship and faith. The narrative skillfully weaves a tale of estrangement and reunion as CJ, returning to her childhood haunts, finds her bonds with friends tested by an unsettling presence and a mysterious disappearance. The film expertly captures the claustrophobic tension of the isolated cabin setting, reminiscent of classic thrillers, while also exploring the interpersonal dynamics that fray under pressure. Olivia Arokiasamy, Kelly Bartram, and Brianna Booker deliver performances that anchor the escalating dread, making the characters' fear palpable. This is a compelling exploration of how trust erodes and faith is forged when faced with the unknown, offering a satisfyingly tense experience for fans of the genre.
