BATTLE OF LIFE AND DEATH: BECOMING THE ALPHA GORILLA

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary plunges viewers into the heart of the Virunga volcanoes, offering a stark portrayal of the perilous existence faced by endangered mountain gorillas. The narrative compellingly depicts their daily struggle against a barrage of human-induced threats, from the insidious reach of poachers and the indiscriminate cruelty of snares to the relentless encroachment on their shrinking habitat. The film doesn't shy away from the harsh realities, showcasing a world where every rustle in the undergrowth could signal danger and every cleared patch of forest represents a loss of vital territory. It serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of these magnificent creatures and the urgent need for conservation efforts in their increasingly hostile environment.
