BANGKOK RUSH

Cinemavixion Review

Daniel Zirilli's "Bangkok Rush" plunges viewers into a relentless cycle of violence and mystery, set against the vibrant, chaotic backdrop of Bangkok. The film centers on Alex, portrayed by Dean Alexandrou (who also penned the screenplay), a protagonist caught in a disorienting time loop. Each iteration forces him to confront a new wave of assassins, leading to a brutal ballet of parkour, martial arts, and high-octane action sequences. While the premise echoes familiar 'Groundhog Day'-esque narratives, "Bangkok Rush" injects a raw, kinetic energy, driven by its exotic locale and the sheer desperation of Alex's predicament. The supporting cast, including Hari Das Ahatefu and Michael Aston, contribute to the film's tense atmosphere. Despite a modest IMDb rating, the film offers a compelling, albeit repetitive, exploration of survival against impossible odds, making it a noteworthy entry for fans of action thrillers with a sci-fi twist.
