BALLS TO THE WALL

Cinemavixion Review

Penelope Spheeris directs 'Balls to the Wall', a 2011 comedy that attempts to navigate the choppy waters of wedding budget woes with a side hustle in exotic dancing. Starring Joe Hursley as the soon-to-be groom, the film pits financial strain against matrimonial bliss, with Jenna Dewan and Dustin Ybarra rounding out the principal cast. While the premise offers a potentially humorous exploration of desperation, the film, as indicated by its IMDb rating of 3.8/10, struggled to find critical favor. Despite its modest box office take of $3,140, 'Balls to the Wall' serves as a niche entry in the comedy genre, perhaps offering a few laughs for those drawn to its unconventional premise.
