Penelope Spheeris's 2011 comedy "Balls to the Wall" offers a raunchy, if somewhat predictable, look at the lengths one man will go to for love, or at least, for a wedding. Starring Joe Hursley as an engaged man coerced into an exotic dancing gig by his future father-in-law to fund their extravagant nuptials, the film leans into its premise with gusto. While the plot might tread familiar ground, the execution, bolstered by Spheeris's directorial hand, aims for a blend of humor and heart.
