BAD RECEPTION

Cinemavixion Review

Mark Alexander Todd's "Bad Reception" plunges viewers into a chilling supernatural thriller where a seemingly innocuous act of acquisition unleashes a torrent of terror. The film masterfully weaves a narrative around a stolen television set that becomes a conduit for a vengeful spirit, playing out the sins and demise of its young owner, Ben, and his associates. Todd's direction, coupled with a plot that delves into the dark undercurrents of human transgression, creates an atmosphere thick with dread. While the narrative explores themes of guilt and retribution, it’s the unsettling premise of a possessed object dictating fate that truly captivates. This independent horror offers a compelling exploration of consequences, making for a thought-provoking and suspenseful viewing experience that resonates long after the credits roll.
