BAD PEOPLE

Cinemavixion Review

Alex Petrovitch's "Bad People" arrives as a jolt of anarchic energy, a sketch comedy that proudly wears its influences on its sleeve, channeling the spirit of "Key & Peele" and "Clerks" into something distinctly its own. This dark comedy plunges headfirst into the absurdity of modern society, exploring themes of sex, politics, and fame with a gleefully transgressive edge. The film's structure, a series of interconnected vignettes, allows for a rapid-fire delivery of gags and social commentary, featuring a wild array of characters from sex-starved surfers to corrupt politicians. While the external data notes a modest 3.8 rating on IMDb, its cult classic aspirations are evident in its bold, often shocking, humor. "Bad People" is a daring, no-holds-barred exploration of humanity's darker impulses, promising a hilarious and unforgettable cinematic ride.
