BAD COMPANY

Cinemavixion Review

Robin Christian's 'Bad Company' plunges audiences into a high-stakes scenario where a group of troubled teens, participating in a 'bootcamp' program, find themselves as the unlikely last line of defense against a terrorist plot targeting a nuclear power plant. The film excels in its depiction of resourcefulness and courage emerging from unexpected quarters. With a strong performance from its lead cast, including Booboo Stewart, Giselle Bonilla, and Kyle Massey, the movie effectively builds tension as the teens, cut off from the outside world, must rely on their wits to avert disaster. The narrative cleverly contrasts their personal struggles with the immense external threat, creating a compelling watch that is both an action thriller and a character-driven drama. Its surprising critical acclaim, highlighted by a remarkable 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, suggests a film that resonates deeply with its themes of redemption and resilience.
