BACKGROUND MUSIC OF OUR LIVES | FALL IN LOVE WITH MUSIC
Cinemavixion Review
In a world saturated with auditory distractions, 'Background Music Of Our Lives | Fall In Love With Music' presents a refreshing and insightful educational program. Maestro George Marriner Maull hilariously dissects how modern life, from shopping malls to workout routines, conditions us to ignore the music that surrounds us. This program challenges viewers to actively practice *not* listening, a counterintuitive yet effective method to sharpen our auditory senses. Through guided listening exercises focusing on the works of Felix Mendelssohn and Bela Bartok, particularly the Discovery Orchestra series theme, the video illuminates the intricate interplay of instruments within a composition. It’s a compelling invitation to rediscover the richness of music by giving it our undivided attention.
