BABYSITTER MUST DIE

Cinemavixion Review

Kohl Glass's "Babysitter Must Die" plunges viewers into a harrowing home invasion scenario, elevated by a surprisingly resourceful protagonist. When a family's home is besieged by armed cultists, the unlikely babysitter, portrayed with grit by Riley Scott, must channel her inner action hero to protect the children. While the premise leans into familiar horror tropes, the film distinguishes itself with its relentless pacing and a central performance that grounds the escalating terror. The tight runtime of 76 minutes ensures that the tension rarely dissipates, making for a brisk and often brutal cinematic experience. Despite a modest IMDb rating, the film delivers on its promise of a high-stakes, fight-for-survival narrative, offering a commendable display of low-budget genre filmmaking where resourcefulness and a clear vision take center stage.
