AWAKEN

Cinemavixion Review

The film "AWAKEN" plunges viewers into a chilling scenario where strangers find themselves on a remote island, ensnared in a sinister plot of survival. The narrative skillfully weaves mystery and action as the characters are hunted, their very awakening on the island a prelude to a fight for their lives. With a runtime of 89 minutes, the film, directed by Mark Atkins, delivers a taut thriller featuring performances from Jason London, Robert Davi, and David Keith. While the plot delves into themes of abduction and sinister operations, it's the underlying mystery connecting the island's fate to a missing sister that drives the escalating tension. "AWAKEN" offers a compelling, albeit grim, exploration of human resilience against calculated malevolence, making for an engaging watch for fans of mystery and action.
