AUSTRALIAN DRUG TRAFFICKER AND ASSASSIN FINDS GOD

Cinemavixion Review

This documentary delves into the stark transformation of Stan Smith, a figure once deeply entrenched in the brutal realities of Sydney's criminal underworld. The narrative traces his ascent as a feared enforcer, detailing his involvement in drug trafficking and assassination under the tutelage of notorious figures like Lenny McPherson and George Freeman, founders of 'The Team.' The film poignantly explores the profound shift from a life of violence and crime to one of spiritual redemption. It offers a compelling, albeit grim, look at the possibility of change, even for those who have committed heinous acts. The stark contrast between Smith's past and his eventual path to finding God serves as the powerful, central theme, prompting reflection on redemption and the human capacity for transformation.
