ATTILA

Cinemavixion Review

Emmanuel Itier's 2013 film "Attila" plunges viewers into a supernatural thriller where ancient wrath meets modern-day transgression. The narrative centers on American soldiers who, through a fateful misstep, pilfer the hidden treasures of Attila the Hun. This act awakens the vengeful spirit of the legendary warrior, now a mummified entity bent on a relentless pursuit of those who disturbed his rest. The film, starring Chris Conrad, Luke Barnett, and Poncho Hodges, blends elements of action and horror, offering a premise that is both intriguing and potentially terrifying. While the film garnered a modest reception, its unique concept of a resurrected barbarian seeking retribution provides a distinct flavor within the genre, making it a curious watch for those seeking unconventional supernatural fare.
